History of Beachside
Calvary Chapel Beachside is a Christian Church started as a home bible study with a group of believers in Huntington Beach, California. In 1997, the church officially rented a building on Beach Blvd as was called Committed Christian Fellowship. A few years later we had outgrown the space and moved down the street to the new location off Beach and Yorktown.
In addition to our weekly Bible Studies, Youth Ministry and Children's Ministry, we have been able to host multiple outreach festivals at the HB Pier Plaza, invite the community to our annual Easter in the park services, feed and minister to the homeless, as well as show support and appreciation to our HB Police and Fire department public servants.
We began with a focus on the Bible and 25 Years later our commitment to teaching God's word is still the same. He has been so faithful and we give Him ALL the glory. Our goal is for all those who come thru the doors of this church to be able to say that we are all "Living Our Lives For Jesus".

We Believe
WE BELIEVE the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible, authoritative, and inerrant Word of God (2 Timothy 3:15–17; 2 Peter 1:19–21).
WE BELIEVE there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:26; Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; John 10:30; John 14:15–26).
WE BELIEVE in the deity of Christ: His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His substitutionary and atoning death, His resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return to earth in power and glory (Matthew 8; Isaiah 9:6; Hebrews 4:15; 1Corinthians 15:3; Isaiah 7:14; John 2:18–22; Revelation 19:11–16; Mark 16:19).
WE BELIEVE that all people are sinners by nature and, therefore, are under condemnation; that God saves and regenerates, based upon faith by the Holy Spirit, those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord (Acts 8:15-17; Ephesians 2:1-3, 8-9; Romans 3:23, 5:8; Titus 3:5).
WE BELIEVE in a literal Heaven and a literal Hell and that all those who place their faith, hope, and trust in Jesus Christ will spend eternity in Heaven with the Lord, while those who reject Jesus’ free gift of salvation will spend eternity separated from the Lord (Psalm 9:17; Matthew 5:3,22; Mark 9:42-49; Luke 12:5; John 3:18; Hebrews 12:23; 1Peter 1:4; Revelation 20:11–15).
WE BELIEVE in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ (John 17:20–23; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 12:12–14; Galatians 3:26–28).
WE BELIEVE the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding helper, teacher, and guide (Romans 8:26; John 6:13, 14:16-17, 16:8-11).
