ASSISTANT PASTOR, Chris Danell
I was born in 1971 and raised in Huntington Beach my whole life. I came to a saving knowledge and gave my life to Jesus Christ at age10. I became very involved in my high school youth group leading worship, teaching student Bible studies/discipleship groups and participating in short term mission trips to Mexico. I graduated from Edison High school and went onto to get my Bachelor of Arts degree in music (emphasis Music Ministry) at Vanguard University. During the college years I married my beautiful wife Suzy and went on staff at Lighthouse Coastal Community Church in Newport Beach, CA. In 2004, together my beloved wife Suzy and I were blessed with twins - Judah (Boy) & Hollan (Girl). It was at this time that we began to attend and serve at Calvary Chapel Beachside. In 2009, I was brought on staff at CCB as an assistant pastor. I love seeing people discover and grow in the love of Jesus and worship Him. I also love playing hockey, frisbee golf, snow board and ski and am always up for a good BBQ with friends and family.
